Recent Buys

I picked up the NYX palette for green eyes along with the blue eyes palette which was a gift for someone. I found a seller on ebay who sells these palettes 2 for $12.99 with shipping at only $2.94. She ships so fast! I got my eyeshadows in 2 days from California to Alabama. She wrapped everything so well and had the cutest invoice/thank you included with her logo on it. Her ebay name is Joy017 and the store is JOY'S cosmetics. I definitely will buy my NYX stuff from her in the future. O and the palette is so pretty. All the colors are perfect for my eyes and they go on so smooth. Some of them do have a lot of fall out but no big deal to just sweep away.

I hate going to Walmart and last time I went to try and find the Hard Candy cosmetics- they weren't in stock yet. I thought they still hadn't stocked them until I finally found them squeezed between two other displays in an aisle. Everything looked pretty nice but this is what I really wanted so it's the only thing I picked up. Their lipstick is called Painted Lady if I'm not mistaken and this is a nude color in Fire Alarm. I don't really get the name but the color is so pretty. A perfect nude. The lipstick goes on really smooth and doesn't feel dry. As far as staying on, it's not horrible but I don't mind reapplying. Also, I love the tube itself. Really cute.

If anyone has a PS3 they must sign up for Netflix. As soon as I heard about Netflix coming to PS3 I signed up. I not only get 2 movies out at anytime, movies to watch on the computer, but also with this disk I can watch the instant movies on my tv. A lot of people were upset at the idea that it is disk based. This means every time I want to watch the movies I must insert this disk. To me, no big deal- I would have to put in a disk to watch a movie anyways. The only thing that bugs me is that I do believe they have the technology to just send us an update and make it where we don't need the disk. I know Xbox does it like this. Maybe they have an exclusive deal though. Like Apple and AT&T...

I picked up these Juicy Couture earrings for only $25 at TjMaxx! I really like them because they snap on securely and are just so cute!

Anyone into body washes (i.e. the whole female population) should check out Suave's limited edition seasonal body washes. I picked this up at Walmart for $1.50! And it smells amazing! I got the Peppermint Bliss one and am going to go back and get more of this and the others. Great buy. The other scents include-Toasted Vanilla Sugar, Candied Apple(this is the only one that didn't stand out to me, and I love apple scents), and Holiday Pear but I didn't see or smell this one.

Sometimes I like to go over to SlickDeals.net and see what the deals are. Well I stumbled over there not too long ago and found these business cards on sale at OfficeDepot.com for only $3.71! I have no need for business cards but between the price and the cute design I had to order some! You like?

New Skin Care Routine

My face is so not happy lately so I've purchased some new items for my skin care. It's only been a day but I really like everything so far! Usually my skin knows right off the bat if it dislikes something. Here's what I'm trying-Olay Complete All Day Moisture Lotion SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin

Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar

Both were cheap! $3 and some change for the bar and around $10 for the lotion. I've read really good reviews on the Cetaphil. My facial cleanser has not worked for me since I bought it but I kept using it anyways, my face was tight and dry and just not getting better with it. I was using Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash but I really think my skin does not like salicylic acid which this (along with many other acne treatments) has in it. The Cetaphil smells soapy, like a hotel soap. But it rinses really well, makes my skin feel clean, not dry, and feels really gentle. The lotion is also gentle, doesn't make me itchy, red and splotchy like every other lotion seems to do. It feels light and doesn't make me overly moisturized- i.e. oily. No strong smell. Plus it comes in a really generous sized bottle and has a screw on cap so if I throw it in my bag I won't worry about it leaking anywhere.

My first impressions have me impressed, but I'll do a proper review after I use these for a few weeks. Wish me luck!

LoveLeeSoaps

So I ordered a few things from LoveLeeSoaps off Etsy. I really regret not getting those chicken wings! For those who don't know who LoveLee is, Click Here to see all her amazing soaps. So here's what I got-

From left to right, Mini Icecream Whipped Body Butters in vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. A Cupcake Soap in strawberry! And some Soap On The Go in strawberry melon shea butter. My order included a cute little yellow bottle shaped soap as a gift. You can tell she really puts her heart into these things.

These Mini Icecream Whipped Body Butters are by far my favorite and I can promise you I will be ordering some full sized butters! These are "try it" sizes, I ordered them first cause I didn't know what to expect. I love being able to try something small first, and try several different varieties. They are packed to the top though, so you really get your money's worth. I paid $3.75 for all three. The formula on these is really thick but not when you apply them. They go on like really airy, leaving you moisturized but not sticky and grimy like I know a lot of body butters do. The smell is amazing and lingers but is not overwhelming at all. I couldn't stop smelling myself, the smell is so yummy! You can also get 4oz for $4 or 8oz For $7 with fragrances like coconut creme, cookie, and cherry limeade!

My Strawberry Swirl Cupcake Soap was everything I imagined! I love anything cupcake, and had been eyeing this soap for a minute. It also smells yummy, I had to remind myself not to eat it. My only regret is that I didn't wait cause she now has a box set (in an adorable box!) of 4 different colored cupcakes. I hope she keeps making these! My cupcake was $4.50 which is a steal if you look at some of the other available cupcake soaps on Etsy.

I also picked up the Soap On The Go for $4 out of curiosity. It's in strawberry melon so the scent is not the same as the other strawberry scent, which I was glad of. Her scents are so distinct and different, she really knocks some of the big name bath and body retailers out of the water. The soap took a little getting used but after working with it, I figured it out. I don't know how convenient it really is but it sure is an interesting idea. I think it'd be great if she made these with some sort of solid lotion in them.

My overall experience with LoveLeeSoaps was great and I would recommend this Etsy Shop to anyone wanting fun quality bath and body products!

SweetTooth

Ok so I was over at Bakerella.com, a site I recently discovered...O wait, you don't know who Bakerella is??? Well she's the genius behind these Cupcake Pops.

Go to the website and she'll teach you how to make adorable things like these mini cheesecake bites.

Anyways, while I was there she was talking about LoveLeeSoaps who makes soaps that look like cupcakes. So I decided to check it out cause Imma fool for anything that looks edible, whether it is or isn't. Upon browsing I became amazed! She makes everything from donut soap to chicken wing soap, all reasonably priced varying around $4! Nothing on the site I seen was over $8. You could pay much more than that for soaps not even this cute anywhere else.

These Chocolate Creme Filled Cupcakes really have white centers!

I want these Cupcakes for my birthday!

These Donuts knock Dunkin's out the water!

You'll never see these Teeth soaps anywhere else, I promise!

My Boyfriend will be in the bathroom trying to eat these Chicken Wing soaps!

These Soap On The Go's really caught my attention. What a good idea! Sometimes I hate using the pink soap out of the dispenser at work, or worse-sometimes it runs out! So always have your favorite soap with you. Although, I had a face wash stick made by Jane very similar to this when I was about 14, and it didn't work out too well. Anyways, be sure to check out LoveLeeSoaps.
